“but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that by believing you may have life in His name.” John 20:31 nasb

John 20:31 is powerful for our Day. The Greek word for “life” is “Zoe,” which speaks of abundant life. Fullness. Wholeness. It’s also used in John 3:16, John 5:24 and John 10:10.

Zoe-life is not limited to the good times, and Jesus is ready to meet us, and refresh and refill us any time we run to Him. The “rest” of Mt. 11:28 is a perfect example of “life,” but we must humbly come to Jesus in our time of need. I just looove what He says in John 5:39-40.

Mt. 7:13-14 says that this life is only entered through the narrow gate, and that will be a problem for many American Christians. We have gotten accustomed to the broad road and the wide gate that represent our institutional religion. COVID FIRE and the trials that lie ahead will give us opportunity to repent of that. Some will and many won’t.

This life is in Jesus (John 1:4) and He is our only source of life, as He said in John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Declaring these truths will probably be considered unacceptable before long. I’ll keep posting on and if I’m cut off on social media you can stay in touch there. I’m looking at another option too, where you can comment.
