The Word of the Cross - - The Power of God
#17 in a series

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.I Cor. 1:18

What is meant by the "The Word of the Cross" in I Cor. 1:18, and how could it be "The Power of God"?

This is a four page paper that I wrote for an "Introduction to Theology" course I took from Rosedale Bible Institute. It was written in May, 1995, while serving as a teacher in the churches in Kenya.

Some of you might think that all my "stuff" about surrender and the way of the cross is something new. Maybe a reaction to what I hear in the church today. It's not - it's been on my heart and has affected my life, my teaching and my writing for a long time.

Because of the length of this paper it's only available as a WORD document or PDF file. I invite your response.
